LAKEVILLE - It's GAMEDAY for LaVille Lady Hoops! The Lancers are set to play host to rival Triton in non-conference play.  The junior varsity is scheduled to tip at 6 pm, with the varsity to follow. Triton enters the contest at 0-7 overall following a 56-15 loss to NorthWood on November 26. Freshman Gracie Riffle leads the Trojans offense at 7.2 points per game.  Junior Avery Viers adds 6.8 ppg and senior Nadia Stetler also contributes 6.8 ppg.  Stetler, a 5'9" forward, hits the glass for 4.3 rebounds per outing, while Viers, a 5'10" forward, hauls in nearly four boards a game. Triton has dominated the overall series, 27-4, since 2000-01. The Trojans also lead the series, 11-4, in games played at Cox Gym during that time. LaVille is 5-2 overall, including winning four of its last five games. The Lancers are coming off a 55-22 victory at North Miami on November 30.  Jasmine Foster led the Lancer offense with a career-high 21 points. Coach Nicholas Amor's club is looking to improve to 6-2 overall, which the Lancers last accomplished in Amor's first year - 2022-23. Of note, LaVille senior point-guard Mikalah Kuskye returned to the floor on November 26 following an injury in the fall. The game against South Bend Adams was her first of the basketball season.
