LAKEVILLE - The junior high basketball team played host to Knox in a conference game. In the seventh grade contest, the Lancers lost a 37-19 decision to the Redskins. Trever Whiteman led LaVille with 10 points. Pierce Riggs had six and Gavis Johnson three. On the eighth grade side, LaVille outscored Knox 9-2 and held on for the 34-32 win. Scoring leaders for LaVille were Liam Amor with 11, Ethan Burghduf and Jonny Yoder with five each. Colten Schwitz and Noah Keen had four apiece, Lucas Maenhout three and Lucas Kreske two. The Lancers will play host to Career Academy South Bend December 7.
