GAMEDAY: LCA Makes First Trip To Lakeville

LAKEVILLE - It's GAMEDAY! LaVille Lady Hoops returns to the hardwood in a non-conference game against Lakeland Christian Academy. The junior varsity game is set for a 6pm start, with the varsity to follow. Lakeland Christian Academy comes to town with a 10-6 overall record, including a 51-33 loss at Lakeland on January 7. The Cougars average 39.9 points per game and allow 34.5 points per outing. LCA is led by senior Katie Reimink at 12.5 points per game, 4 rebounds per game and 3.3 steals. Classmate Dayton Sibert adds 10.5 ppg and 4.5 rpg, while freshman Olivia Hawks chips in 9.9 ppg and 10.5 rpg. Coach Craig Calizo's crew is 7-0 when scoring at least 39 points, while the Cougars are also 9-0 when holding the opposition to 35 points or less. This will be the first-ever visit to Dale E. Cox Gymnasium for Lakeland Christian Academy, where LaVille is 4-1 so far this season.Including the LCA game, Coach Nicholas Amor's club is at the front end of a three-game homestand. The Lancers are also set to play host to Jimtown on January 11 at 6pm for a varsity only Indiana Northern State Conference contest. North Judson-San Pierre closes three straight home games on January 14, The JV game is scheduled to tip at 6:30 p.m. Coach Nicholas Amor's club is 11-3 overall following a 39-30 victory over New Prairie. Senior Brooke Edison led the Lancers, scoring 19 points, grabbing 12 rebounds and picking up 12 steals for her first-ever triple-double. Jasmine Foster added 11 points for LHS. Game on ...
