LAKEVILLE - It's GAMEDAY in Lakeville! LaVille Lady Hoops will open the 2025 Everwise Bi-County basketball tournament against the defending tourney champions from New Prairie.  It was the first Girls Everwise Bi-County title for the Cougars since 2006. New Prairie will enter the first round contest with a 2-17 overall record following a 69-11 loss to Penn.  The last Cougar victory came via a 51-34 over Michigan City on January 7. Coach Aimee Litka's squad is led by Nevaeh Trobaugh, Morgan Flagg and Lauren Abbott. Brooke Edison and Foster lead LHS in scoring and rebounding. New Prairie leads the series 13-9 since 2000-01, including 6-5 in games played at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium during the time. Game on ...
