VALPARAISO - The final stretch of the 2024-25 high school girls basketball season takes LaVille Lady Hoops on the road to Washington Township and Argos. The Lancers traveled to Valparaiso to face the Senators Tuesday night at Senator Gym. Coach Nicholas Amor's club and Washington Township battled before the Lancers fell, 52-30. LHS took an early 13-12 lead after one quarter, but had its problems converting inside the paint over the final three periods. Amor's crew was just 4 of 16 shooting inside the lane, while Washington Township was a little more consistent, converting 14 of 21 for 67-percent, which turned out to be the difference. Brooke Edison and Jasmine Foster led LaVille with nine points each. LaVille moves to 14-7 overall and will travel to Argos on January 30 for the regular season finale. The junior varsity is scheduled for a 6pm tip, with the varsity game to follow.
