ARGOS - LaVille Lady Hoops travels to Argos for the 2024-25 regular season finale on January 30. The Dragons rallied from a 27-23 deficit in the fourth quarter.  Morgyn Barcus and Ellie Bollenbacher score 13 points each, while Alydiah Leed added 11 points for the Dragons. Barcus is the leading scorer, with solid scoring averages also from Bollenbacher and Leed. Bollenbacher is the leading rebounder. LaVille brings a 14-7  ledger into the contest.  The Lancers are coming off a 52-30 loss at Washington Township.  Brooke Edison and Jasmine Foster led LaVille with nine points each against the Senators. Seniors Mackena Deason and Mikalah Kuskye, along with Edison and Foster lead LaVille's offense and defense. The Dragons average 38.2 points per game, while allowing 45.3.  AHS has a record of 6-6 when scoring at least 38 points in a game this season. Coach Nicholas Amor's club averages 44.4 offensively and gives up 34.4 defensively.  The LHS defense is ranked in the top 35 in the state, regardless of class. LaVille leads the series 15-13 since 2000-01, although Argos leads the series 8-4 in games played at the Dragons' Den during that time. Game on ...
