ARGOS - LaVille Lady Hoops used a mini run to turn an otherwise close game into a double-figure lead and pick up a 44-34 victory at Argos. The Lancers led 34-29 before a baseline bucket by Brooke Edison, followed by a LHS fastbreak turned into and-1, followed by a technical foul and the LaVille lead turned into a 10-point advantage.  Coach Nicholas Amor's team stayed tough on defense as time ran out. Edison and Denni Markin led the Lancers with 10 points each.  Jasmine Foster had eight, Ava Weil seven and Mikalah Kuskye chipped in six. Amor's club closed the regular season at 15-7 overall and will face Jimtown or Bremen in the semifinal round of the IHSAA Class 2A sectional at Knox High School.
