AKRON - It's a GAMEDAY for LaVille basketball! The Lancers are coming off a solid victory over Career Academy South Bend and in the midst of a five-game winning streak. Coach Michael Edison's club gets back into the Indiana Northern State Conference action against league-leading Tippecanoe Valley. LaVille is 11-5 overall following a 69-36 victory Tuesday against the Trailblazers. Senior Collin Czarnecki scored a game-high 43 points in the CASB game that tied the school-record set by Carl Herbster in 1967-68. Tippecanoe Valley is 10-4 overall  after a 66-23 win against Indianapolis Herron.  The Vikings average 52.6 points per game, while allowing 39.8 per outing.  Valley is 8-0 when scoring at least 53 points in a game so far, while are 6-0 when allowing its opponent 40 points or less. Edison's crew sports it own impressive mark of 9-1 when scoring at least 55 points per outing and is unbeaten in eight games with the opponent scores 44 points or less this season.
