LAKEVILLE - The LaVille basketball team renewed its rivalry with John Glenn at Dale E. Cox Gymnasium. Coach Michael Edison's club got off to a strong start and never looked back in picking up a 70-23 Indiana Northern State Conference victory on 'Senior Night'. Andre Gonzales helped the Lancers off on the right foot, hitting from long distance and scoring 13 of his career-high 18 points in the first quarter. Collin Czarnecki led all scorers with 24 points, including 10 in the third period, to go with seven assists. Lance Edison added 10 points and corraled eight rebounds. LHS will travel to Whitko for a non-conference game on February 18. The JV is set to top at 6pm, with the varsity to follow.
