LAKEVILLE - We are excited to team together with Jersey Mike's Subs as they sponsor a Player of the Week at LaVille High School! Coaches and LaVille Athletic Department personnel will select various student-athletes from baseball, boys golf, boys track and field, girls tennis, girls track and field, and softball. Our boys track and field recipient this week is LaVille sophomore Lance Edison. He was nominated by coach Kathe Beehler. "Sophomore Lance Edison opened the 2025 track season (last) week with a personal record in high jump and 2 first place finishes as well 2 first place finishes in the 300 hurdles and also was a member of the winning 4x100m relay team." When asked how the season is going so far, Edison said, "Feeling good ... PRing, feeling fresh, feeling fast." The track and field team's next meet will be April 15 against Bethany Christian, Elkhart Christian Academy and Trinity Greenlawn When he learned of Jersey Mike's recognition, Lance said, "I feel honored.
