ARGOS - Taking advantage of six walks and a solid contact percentage, LaVille put 16 runners on base en route to a 14-0 victory at Argos. Caleb Howard led the offense with two hits and four runs batted in, while his teammates knocked in nine more runners to earn the non-conference victory. Sean Kubsch collected a two RBI double in the bottom of the first. Howard, meanwhile, came up with two RBIs on a single to center field in the bottom of the second and two more ribbies on a single to right field in the bottom of the third. Braedyn Foster and Andrew Wolford had a hit each for LHS. Collin Czarnecki earned the victory on the mound after tossing four innings of no-hit ball, striking out eight and walking none. Andre Gonzales came on in the bottom of the fifth to combine for the no-hit, shutout victory for the Lancers. Coach Brian Lawler's club gets back into Indiana Northern State Conference play on April 24 and April 25.
