LAKEVILLE - The softball team played host to John Glenn in an Indiana Northern State Conference game Monday. LaVille scored in the first and second innings before dropping a 18-3 decision to the Falcons. Lexis Owens led the Lancer offense with two hits, including a double and an RBI. Kylah Bell and Peyton Tubicsak pitched for LaVille, with Bell absorbing the loss in the circle. Coach Garrett McBride's club was scheduled to play at John Glenn on May 20. That INSC game has been postponed to May 22. The scheduled game v Plymouth has been cancelled on May 22 so that the Falcons and Lancers can play the conference game. LHS is scheduled to play host to Oregon-Davis on May 21. That game is set for Newton Park beginning at 5:30pm.
