AUBURN _ The Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association has announced its 2025 Academic All-State list. Congratulations go out to LaVille senior Collin Czarnecki on receiving Academic All-State. "Collin is the perfect example of a student-athlete," said LaVille head baseball coach Brian Lawler. "And earning academic all state is a great ending to an outstanding high school career." To become a IHSBCA Academic All-State selection, the player must be a senior during the 2025 season and play in 70% of the team games. In addition , they must meet one of two qualifiers automatically. If the player is valedictorian or salutatorian they automatically qualify, otherwise the player must qualify with a score of 8 on the academic formula that takes into account the player's grade point average and SAT/ACT scores. Czarnecki graduated in late May as the LaVille Valedictorian.
