LAKEVILLE - As we close out the spring 2025 athletic season, we continue to be excited to team together with Jersey Mike's Subs as they sponsor a Player of the Week at LaVille High School! Coaches and LaVille Athletic Department personnel will select various student-athletes from baseball, boys golf, boys track and field, girls tennis, girls track and field, and softball. Our girls track and field recipient is LaVille senior Reagan Bollenbacher. She was nominated by coach Erin Ecker. We caught up with Reagan and chatted with her about the her improvement this season and the season overall. "Coach (Isaac) Eash was a big part of our improvement this season." said Bollenbacher, who was a key part of the LaVille throwers. "We spent a lot of time working on our form, our arms and our legs. I really improved a lot this season, with 104-feet being my best throw. I really enjoy discus, I definitely was able to add more distance on my throws this year. I also worked on my footwork inside the throwing circle. It is so fun to spin around!" When we asked Reagan about the Jersey Mike's Subs recognition, she smiled and said, "I was really excited.
