WESTVILLE - The varsity boys soccer team used a balanced offensive attack to go with a stingy defense to pick up a 6-1 victory at Westville. "It was a great overall game with 5 or 6 different guys combining for goals and assists," said second-year LaVille coach Keith Norman. "We showed great balance in our attack and structural discipline in defense. It was a great first outing." According to Norman, Kyler Christy, in his freshmen debut totaled 4 saves (in goal) and the defense supported the offensive output. Coach Norman's son, Jamison, led the offense with two goals and one assist. LaVille (1-0) will travel to Baker Park Saturday August 23 against Mishawaka. The first touch is scheduled for 10am.
