WALKERTON - Over the past few seasons, the home team has picked up the victory in the girls high school soccer series between John Glenn and LaVille. Tuesday afternoon, history repeated itself as the Lancers fell to the Falcons 4-0 in Walkerton. It was the final regular season Indiana Northern State Conference match for both teams, as they prepare for the upcoming INSC Championships September 25 and 27. The Falcons were led by Lilah Donlon with two goals, while goalie Ariana Stanley made 9 saves for John Glenn. LaVille collected five shots and two corners, but were unable to score. JG got three players in the scoring column including Lilah Donlon, Karsyn Bogard, and Kassidy Tibbs each scored. Donlon had two goals. With the victory, John Glenn secured the 2025 INSC regular season title, and are set to play from the #1-seed position at the INSC Championships. Glenn improves to 7-1-1 overall and perfect in four conference matches. LaVille continues to battle and improve though they have lost three straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-5-1.
