See more information and coaches comments below. LAVILLE 3, ARGOS 0 The junior high girls soccer team traveled to Argos for a non-conference match. LaVille got off to a fast start, with Acelyn Christy scoring in the sixth minute.  The Lancers led 1-0 through halftime before Hazelle Rowe found the back of the net early in the second half.  Olivia Amor put the match out of reach by tallying the final goal of the match for a 3-0 victory over the Dragons. "We controlled possession the vast majority of the game," said LaVille coach Blair Endicott. "The heat was a factor and we depended on everyone to play in multiple positions to manage playing in the weather.  Seventh grade Cora Norman made her return to the pitch after being sidelined for six weeks with a broken foot."We had a chance to go up by another goal later in the first half after a handball in the box, but their goalie saved the kick.  Late in the game, Argos had an opportunity to score on a PK following a foul in the box against us, but their shot was wide." Chloey Cox tallied a goal to make it 3-0 and the Lancers never looked back in a 6-0 win. "The team played their most collected and poised game of the season," said coach Blair Endicott. "They showed improved communication, better connection of passes, and great teamwork.  This was a full team effort against a talented opponent.  Our defensive line continues to hold games with limited scoring opportunities for the opposing team.  We continue to build momentum as the season progresses."
