GAMEDAY: Bremen Set To Visit Cox Gym September 25

LAKEVILLE - The volleyball team continues Indiana Northern State Conference play September 25. Bremen is set to visit Dale E. Cox Gymnasium to renew the longtime rivalry that has spanned non-conference, conference and IHSAA battles. BHS leads the series 22-9 since 2007, however, the two schools have split the last six matches. LHS won the 2024 regular season meeting, but the Lions returned the favor in the IHSAA Sectional. Bremen brings a 14-6 overall record into Thursday's match following a 3-0 victory at Bethany Christian September 22. The Lions sit in a tie for second at 2-1 in the INSC. The Lions are led by Teagan Feathers in both total blocks and kills. Eliana Grubbs is the top server, Sara Sahlhoff leads in digs, and Emma Kincaid has over 400 assists this season. LaVille is 5-10 overall after a 3-0 loss at Knox on September 18. LHS is looking for its first conference win, with two loop matches remaining - Knox and Tippecanoe Valley. The Lancers are led by Olivia Markin in kills, Faith Mejer in total blocks. Markin also leads in serving, digs and assists. Bremen is 4-1 this season against true road matches, while LaVille is 2-5 in true home matches.
