LAKEVILLE - The LaVille girls soccer team is scheduled to play host to South Bend Riley on October 2 to close the 2025 regular season. This also gives us a chance to recognize members of our senior class in their final home match. Congratulations to Kelsi Andert, Macie Edwards, and Claire Wainscott. They will be recognized just prior to the team introductions of the match against the Wildcats. The ladies match is scheduled for 7:30pm. Senior Night at Newton Park will be live-streamed on LVH1 - https://www.ihsaatv.org/?B=2852535 Riley comes to town with a 1-10-1 overall record following a 8-0 loss at South Bend Saint Joseph on September 30. LaVille is 5-9-1 overall after a 2-0 loss at West Noble on September 29. Though coach Kevin Christy's crew is led in scoring by Madison Mishler and Reagan Strang, there are several threats on the field that have found the back of the net this season. Denni Markin and Mishler have both worked in goal, with Marking getting the lion's share of minutes and leads the goalie department with 89 saves thus far. Christy's club leads the recent series 3-0. LaVille won the last meeting 7-0 on September 29, 2022.
