SOUTH BEND - LaVille High School bowling opened the season at Chippewa Bowl in South Bend, Indiana. Behind solid team bowling, the LaVille girls team dominated Rochester, 18-2. Gabrielle Nace was the top Lancer bowler with a 363 series, followed by Alexandria Huff at 310. On the boys side, behind the trio of Bobby Brzezinski, Neil Patrick, and Zak Mullins, LHS bounced back to win the second match by approximately 100 pins. With the two matches combined, Rochester nipped LaVille, 11-9. LaVille returns to action this weekend at Country Lanes in Rochester, IN. The guys will have a bye in the opening match, then face Plymouth in the second match around 5:00pm November 1. LHS faces John Glenn in the 1:00pm girls' opener on November 2, while the Lancers meet Plymouth at approximately 3:00pm.
